Helping Children - Helping Families
170 children age 3-5 are being cared for

When the younger children are cared for during the day, the elder siblings can go to school and the parents can go to work. A win-win for all.

Financial support from Reach Dalit went for the purchase of books.
The teachers were surprised how much fun children's books can be. They giggled when they started reading them.
Now they have a new tool to teach the children - and judging by the pictures the children are absorbing the stories. Books come in their local language and in English.

Food and health care is provided for these little once. They are off to a good
start!

"Each child cared for at the crèche is nurtured by staff, matters as an individual, and is exposed to the kind of environment (Montessori principles) which emphasizes custom-fitting the learning experience to suit that particular child’s needs at its particular stage of development.  For children facing serious stressors in their daily life, such personally targeted intervention is a God-send in terms of the ongoing development of their brain."  From the August 2018 newsletter.
