Simon’s House – an Orphanage in Odisha/India
Founded 2012
Named after Simon B. who built the house as his retirement home. He envisioned the building being used for charitable purposes. A year after his passing Simon’s House was founded.
The building got renovated and on April 16, 2013 the first 2 boys moved in.
By 2015 girls came into the extended care of Simon's House.
In 2016 a girl from a local village moved in. She attended college, lived at Simon's house and
helped with the growing numbers of boys and girls
Tremendous work has been done in India. Incredible hardship had to be overcome:
from very humble beginnings to these amazing kids..
Six years later: The picture speaks for itself.
